Acer Predator X34, Backlight bleed

Hi there guys just purchased a new X34 monitor, so far it is a big upgrade over my old 60hz Asus PB278Q monitor but it seems to have a bit of backlight bleed, just wondering if you guys think it is acceptable. Would like to hear other X34 owners thoughts.

 

I purchased it locally in Australia so I'm sure I could probably exchange it if necessary.

 

Backlight glow is  noticeable to me, I often use my monitor on low brightness in a pretty dark room at night.

I'm sure if I had to I could adapt quite easily by using more ambient light at night.
