Most likely custom PCB. It's not listed in the compatibility list of EK's reference Vega 56/64 full cover waterblock. Blower Aero cards on Nvidia side are all custom boards as well.

I think it is a compatible close enough to ref to work.

Ok so I was in the same spot as you and I really wanted to get some water cooled vega but no ref cards around. Then i saw these asked MSI got no response and after speculation I decided to get them. Of Course after I order 2 the day they ship i get a very helpful reply from MSI stating "Hey Nicholas, our Radeon RX Vega 64 Air Boost 8G OC is not a reference PCB." Great...So i think im gonna have to sell them and just get 1080s. But I decided to order one waterblock to test. They arrived on the same day and I took off the cooler (which is actually a nicer all metal version of the ref blower) and it looks pretty much the same the only difference that I can see is there are the four little plus things (maybe temp sensors) near each corner and the pcb edge is smooth all the way around. I got an aqua computer water block and it fit just fine.

Thanks for the pics of the pcb btw I don't think I've seen others for the airboost it seems pretty identical to the reference.

Ditto, comparing the images of the AirBoost to the AMD reference PCB's on EKwb's side (and disassembly images online), it definitely looks like a reference PCB.
