For what purpose? I've never known anyone to share a phone.

Unless they do what Lenovo has done with some of it's tablets, have multiple users on the same device like a PC and individual files and聽stuff.

The intention is for people who change their appearance often with the same haircuts or sunglasses and etc.聽

You can also use it for 2 completely different faces for parents or S.O.s聽

If people change their appearance that "often" then 2 still wont be enough. if you change, and your phone doesn't recognize you, login using a password/PIN and update your face (that sounds weird)

2nd gen Touch ID (iPhone 7/7+/8/8+) > Face ID

Eh, I actually prefer face ID. When I'm working my hands are often dirty or wet and are unable to be read by the scanner so I have to type out my password. Face ID fixes this.

Completele agree woth @Sierra Fox. Having only two appearances saved is useless for people who change it often.

However, for parents I think that this might be very valuable.

Could this be used to set up a 90 degree rotated face for landscape unlocking?
