Trader Joe's Unexpected Cheddar. It's like NEXT LEVEL cheddar. It really does taste unique and different than other cheddars, even a different consistency.

Not a big fan of cheese.

I like the various cheeses you might find on pizza, lasagna, in a poutine, in a subway sub, etc...(so probably Cheddar, Mozzarella, Swiss and... possibly a few others)

But other than that, I don't go out of my way to buy cheeses to eat by themselves or with a biscuit, I only eat cheese when it's an integral part of a dish.

I like a large variety of cheeses but these are my top five, in order of preference:

 

1. Mild or medium Cheddar

2. Shredded Monterrey Jack/Cheddar blend (often called shredded Mexican Cheese

3. Monterrey Jack

4. Pepper Jack

5. Mozzarella

Gouda, Edam, Brie of Mozzarella are good. Goat cheese is nice every once in a while and feta (Greek goat cheese) is nice too.

Actually, it's a proceesed cheese product made of a variety of milk (sometimes including some cheddar) and non-milk products. Anyone who appreciates real cheese wouldn't stoop to calling American "cheese" cheese.
