wait what its cheaper? tf it wasnt cheaper a day ago!!

On PCPP armor is cheapest at $750 and the amp is at $785 along with the others.

also i dont care how loud it is, i just dont want it fucking not working in a year or so bcuz of heat issues. (that happend to my laptops dedicated gpu :I)

If you run the armor at max fan speeds it should be OK at stock, which will be like 1800 mhz in games. You might lose out on 5-10% extra FPS you could get with ocing on a better cooler.

The difference is only $35 compared to a $750 card though.... A drop in the bucket if you ask me.

Best PC Build for 4K gaming? Your budget is 1300$ You can go 7$ over. Nothing more. Only Gaming use,no editing. This is the best i could come up with. Goodluck!

4k gaming is a waste/pointless any ways... identical experience and virtual space to 2560x1440p but several times harder to run just for an extra yet meaningless pixel density.

I don't think it's a sensible target for more value for money orientated builds.

Drives pretty close to the same as 4K. Yes, it would look better due to the smoother motion.

Either 4K or 1440p/144Hz gaming requires a 1080 Ti.  Or potentially wait 2 months for a 1180. (We don't know quite yet.)

Does the PSU have enough 8-pin connectors?

That's the only part of the build that looks like you could change.

I don't know the packaging details for the specific GPU. From Newegg, it looks like there is a 6pin to 8pin converter, but there are two 8pin slots to fill with the 1080 Ti. From Newegg's pictures, it looks like there is only 1 4+4 pin PCIe connector. The 650w version has enough, but that's a lot more expensive.

There is no Capstone with just one PCI-E connector, it has two 8-pins, so it'll work. Although my recommendation would be something a bit newer. You don't need a 1080 Ti for 1440p 144HZ gaming either, the monitors have ULMB ranges that go from like 45HZ to 144HZ. As long as you're inside that zone, G-Sync will work. What I'm saying is, getting 144 FPS is not a must, you can easily get away with a 1070 Ti and OC'ing it.

Yeah, don't buy that PSU. Get a SeaSonic Focus Plus Gold or an eVGA SuperNova.

Wouldn't suggest it for 4k, it's a decent card for 1440p.

For UHD, I wouldn't go for less than a 1080 Ti.

If you're def. going to do 4k, the Armor is not too great, I'd go with the EVGA SC dual-fan. It sells for the same price. While at it, cut from somewhere else a little then add a small 240GB SSD, and you're set.

yeah i would do the same but i put that 1080 ti bcuz it wasnt on sale. And bcuz im not getting the pc in a week or two, i dont want to see the build jump in price when the sale ends. Either way your 100% right and cudos to you!

also can i go with the cheaper rosewill psu? Does it support the 1080 ti??? Like does it have x2 8 pin connectors? or do i use a converter with the gpu (if it even comes with one)

You're welcome, I own a 1080 Ti with a 4k monitor personally. It needs some fine-tuning for games but the amount of pixels are nice for tasks outside of gaming.

You can get the Capstone, it's still a good PSU. Yes, it does have two 8-pin PCI-E and will handle the GPU.
