I have a ssd with windows

I have an SSD and it has windows 7 on it... yet i have not hooked it up to my pc is there a certain way i should hook it up? and i dont know how to install windows with it..

You have a SSD that already has Windows 7 installed in it and you want your new PC to boot from it? If so just connect the SSD to the system (power+sata3) then go on the BIOS and select it as boot priority.

 

The first time boot will take longer as the system will update drivers and what not.

What are your specs? It's possible that your hardware doesn't have native support for Windows 7.

It does i just didnt know how to do it... i didnt wanna screw it up

Has that drive been used in another system? If it has, you probably need to reinstall Win7. Win7 doesn't like hardware changes. In best case you get just some minor hickups and don't even notice. In worst case its BSODs and boot loops.
