I guess cure wasn't the word I was looking for. What I meant was that if cancer ever pops up we can easily get rid of it no matter what stage it's in.

Yes and no. We could certainly develop cancer vaccines that could prevent cancer cells from forming in the first place.

 

We could also develop cancer cell destroying medication that is able to specifically target and eradicate cancer cells while leaving healthy cells alone. This is currently the problem, since traditional cancer treatment is indiscriminate between cancer cells vs healthy cells.

I never said cure it, cancer - because as you stated, the way its formed cannot be cured (with current technology and research) - but in the future, I hope for a way it can at least be prevented or spotted extremely early to the point where it's still developing and can be treated or the way care can be improved etc. 
Having lost multiple family members to cancer, I know how painful it can be for families to witness this disease in action, which is why said what I did, we need to find a way to stop or at least prevent it in the first place.

Oh no. I'm shocked. All my condolences to his family, oh my god. I'm a long-time viewer and suscriber of his. Been watching him since 2012 or 2013. 

 

He was the Gamers Nexus of videogame critic. More lile Gamers Nexus is the Totalbiscuit of PC Tech...

 

He was really one of the only legitimate sources for game reviews and he offered exposure to awesome indie games like Magicka which I enjoyed so much with my friends.

 

Goddamn TotalBiscuit, I miss you. I think he was also Linus' favorite Youtuber

Holy shit.... Rest in Peace you glorious man. Not everyone agreed with him and hell some of what he said really riled me the wrong way but I respected him for what he believed in and that he stuck to them. How he always tried his best to make things better for us all even when we didn't agree he was at least someone trying things.

My old man passed away in September 2017...went into cardiac arrest right in front of my eyes. Paramedics were already here on site prior, as he was having problems breathing, but they couldn't do much. He was diagnosed with bladder tumor/cancer two years ago, but it was still at a very treatable/controllable stage. Then things took a turn in January/February 2017...CT and MRI scans confirmed it had spread to the liver. In less than a year, he was gone. He deteriorated heavily within the last 1~2 months. It's quick.

 

It's hard.

It was really hard on my mom -- and it still is.

My younger brother was out of town working, and I only told him to come home ASAP... didn't tell him what had happened until he arrived late in the evening that day. 

 

You build up a wall...trying to keep things under control, keep everyone else in check, make it look like it's okay, and move on with day-to-day life...but sometimes, it hits you hard.

 

 

 

I haven't followed TotalBiscuit too closely in the last couple of years, but have always known him as a fantastic man. It's difficult to see how things played out for him.

 

My condolences to his wife, family, and friends.

You may not like the man and disagree with his opinions, but the impact he had on the gaming community and industry cannot be denied nor minimized.

 

He set the bar when it came to gaming criticism, I loved how he always started with the options menu.. it tells you a lot about the game before going into it, a lot about the develpment of it and shows you a part no one else showed and you'd have to find out sometimes important details about the game until after you bought it.. He knew so much and provided so much insight.

I know I'm going to develop a game some day, he has set the bar for the standards I'll reach for. It's just a shame he'll never be able to play it.

I Lost my aunt to Brain cancer, His poor wife, At least he was lucid till the end for her, My aunt was gone long before she was dead.
