So the whole video was simply a "product review" of a Chinese graphics card

Not all graphics cards from AliExpress are a scam!!!

I’d guessed that this was finally clear by now...

What is really cool with many Ebay scams and with other sites is that you can get the refund and then keep the cheap card sent to you. So it can end up being a win situation. : )

Yes, but then you are simply supporting the whole system.

The scammers have received their money and are probably already far gone by then. It is eBay itself that reimburses you with their own money.

Maybe wkdpaul or Crunchy Dragon, they seem to be more active than the rest in my opinion, you can look at the list of staff on https://linustechtips.com/main/staff/

  • 1 month later...

I was thinking that it was supposed to be a GPU with 6GB but the 6th module didn't meet it's standards so they took it out and placed the 5GB card to China instead of throwing them out.

When GPU prices stayed high for so long, people started to get desperate... So we went shopping for cheap GPUs on AliExpress to see what happens!

Buy a GTX 1060 6GB for a not ridiculous sum:

On Amazon: http://geni.us/brR9s

On Newegg: http://geni.us/uujZ

Buy an actually warrantied GTX 1080 for less than we paid for this one:

On Amazon: http://geni.us/1YhzB

On Newegg: http://geni.us/zTV7HI

what benchmark software is that?
