Phanteks P400S

Go to solution Solved by SkyDom,

everything is ok now im installing windows now

Ok so I just got my parts 2 days ago, and I build it up just like normal, when everything was connected I looked at the motherboard and realised my case is missing power led + and -. The case is phanteks P400S, this was my first time building a pc, so I searched around the internet looking for answers, but I couldnt find anything, plz help. What do I do? Do I buy new cables, or do I go to the local pc shop, or do I have to get a new case? I can turn the pc on but not off so I have to flip the switch on the psu.

It is supposed look like this: But Im missing the power led + and -. what do I do?

it could be combined with another cable. that might be why you don't have one.

and even if you don't, all you will miss is one small lamp on the front

So the power light doesn't light up either when you power on the PC? I used to have the P400S and can't remember whether the onboard LED controller handled the power LED with a SATA power or that it had the small header cable. I'm leaning towards the former.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

That's a different problem and not related to the lights or buttons.

Full specs please.

Check the board for LEDs in the CPU area (DRAM, VGA and CPU LEDs typically) and see if one of them is lit. If yes, there's the problem.
