Now that I see it, the deal isn't as great as it may seem. I think Cooler Master should've included a Hyper 212 EVO for free instead of this 120mm AIO.

I believe AIOs are only for looks. Air coolers are much cheaper, perform better in some cases, and cost a lot less.

Still, it's a free cooler for those you can't exactly "afford one" for only 10$ more you get that. Plus I mean you could just sell that for something else or trade.

I'm going to get this myself, I mean the case I always wanted pretty much. Then just sell the cooler unboxed or boxed for some money. Then try to get that MIR.

That cooler is SHITE. I had the 240 version and it was loud AF and didn't do a great job cooling my 1600. Like worse than the stock air cooler. A 240 AIO.

Yeah, but you can still sell it to get the case cheaper than it is.

I got really bored one day and mounted a Kraken X61 on a G3258. Ambient temp was 24C, full 4.6GHz Prime95 blend load at 1.4V was 46C.

Still couldn't keep up with a GTX 960.

Wow, and one question is your PFP your PC? Because, it looks really nice with the RGB.

Thanks! It's a PC that I originally threw together as a joke mocking RGB, then I just kind of kept it as is, and now it's a HTPC. Don't judge me.

I sold off my Kraken X61 last weekend, meaning this is now an Air Master Race household. Liquid cooling, imo, is too expensive and too much of a pain for what you get out of it. That goes double for a little Failer Master 120mm AIO. The only purpose that a 120mm AIO serves in a practical scenario is if you have a Mini ITX system in something like an Elite 110 that has zero room for anything bigger than a stock air cooler, but can take a tiny AIO.

Hell, even the Elite 110 can take a 140mm if you get creative with it. Seriously, 120mm AIOs are completely useless in 99.4% of PC builds.

I mean you're not wrong. I love my H115i but I'd switch it out for a Dark Rock Pro 4 if my case supported it, damnable noisy pump.

Then again, you have 3466 MhZ ram, useless in 100% of builds.

I did a thing at Best Buy where I gave them a broken old laptop and they gave me a $75 gift card. Seriously, it barely clung to life long enough for them to get into Windows and see how much RAM it had. But I got my $75 gift card, and when I walked back, there were two things on the shelf:

Corsair LPX DDR4-3200: $165

Corsair DDR4-3466 RGB: $185

The RGB wasn't nearly as big a deal for me as the guaranteed Samsung B-Die was. The LPX was the shitty Hynix version, so 3466MHz RAM it was. Even if I'll never actually see 3466 MHz, at least I'll be stable at 3200. and able to drop to CL14.
