"Server" Pc for higher/ lower Temp Range? Experience with?

Hi

I know from my Research Fujitsu bought the Mainboard thing from Intel. Now I found an Mainboard who is specified for +50C.

The have "a lot" of PCI-E interfaces: https://sp.ts.fujitsu.com/dmsp/Publications/public/DS-D3402-B.pdf

yey....

I also found Ram + SSD for the higher Ambiant Temp:
https://de.transcend-info.com/Embedded/Products/No-843

https://de.transcend-info.com/Embedded/products/mem_search.aspx?catno=342

I also found an Consumer PSU: http://antec.com/product/power/hcp850.php

So sounds good? Well the only problem is still the CPU (beside of the I/O Cards I want to use).

I will put an TV Card in and some 4 USB Chipset Cards in for SDR Stuff and TV Records.
Is there a chance to get an ESXi run on the Board? It would be nice to have an Linux for the SDR Stuff and run some stuff in a Sandbox.

Thanks!

From AT. :x

Should be fine to use normal hardware.

As long as you're in a room and not outdoors, you'll be fine.

Lets say its more or less rain prof since there are 50mm gaps in the Wood Planks where fresh Air is circulation trout.

Its not Thermal insulated. My 10Y old IBM Server run in Summer at 100% Fan Temp and the are not that powerfull.

You know there is a reason why people who have servers use alot of time making cooling systems for it? The warmer you run the more critical will the damage be.

If your a DIYer i'd suggest you to make up some jancky water cooling for a standard server. Or simply get an AC unit.
