Monitor Overclock: How far?

Default is 60hz

 

How much do you think I can raise the refreshrate to? Can I lower the res to 1080p and get even more out of it?

my Samsung 4k will clock to about 72hz, but i run it at 70.

 

can't seem to clock it any higher if the resolution is different.

There is no knowing how far it will go as every monitor is different. For instance, my panel can go only to 63 from 60, but others can go up to 80.

 

Don't lower the resolution as it will look bad and blurry.
