Just asking but have a Switch with Zelda and Mario Odyssey, someone has offered a trade for a ps4 slim and the follwing games

I love the Switch but besides from playing Mario Aces and Okami, there's nothing else I really want to play despite how godlike Mario and Zelda is

The Nintendo Switch has all sorts of issues related to saves, online play, and more.  I would take the PS4 Slim any day of the week over the Nintendo Switch.  Now yes I understand you are giving up some good games but man oh man you are getting quite a few back that are of very good quality.  I would say 6 of those PS4 games are titles anyone should want.

What about Project Octopath Traveler that comes out in two months? That game looks like it'll be awesome. Personally I'd keep the Switch and then just buy a PS4 on Black Friday when hopefully they go back down to $200. All those games other than GTA V can often be found pretty cheap anyways.

Mhh....

Somewhat OKish, though the Switch was more expensive and Switch Games are expensive as well...

But you get the Uncharted Series and some other great games, if you like those games, maybe...

 

 

But a 500GB PS4 Slim is only 250€ and those Games are rather cheap. I paid 15€ for my Copy of Uncharted 4 (a Thief's End)...

So its only worth it because of the games...

 

But to be honest, I'd rather get a PS4 and keep the Switch and ask him how much he'd want ant pay money for it...

Swich is something like 300-350€, depending on age and so on, with those two games...

 

The PS4 I'm not sure because most of it is just games.

But the Question is:
Is it a 500 or 1TB  Version??

If it was a PRO I'd do it. With a non Pro, I'm not sure.

Its a 500GB version. In the UK ps4 prices are still relatively high even for 2nd hand market

Well, the Problem I have with that bundle is that there are no real good Exclusives in there.

No Horizon Zero Dawn, no Persona 5, no Infamous. "Only" Uncharted and Last of Us (wich is from the Same Studio and plays almost like Uncharted but with more Stealth, less shooting) and Drive Club...

 

That are the Exclusives:

  • last of us remasterd
  • uncharted 4
  • uncharted collection
  • uncharted the lost legacy

And that are the non Exclusives you can also play on PC:

  • assassin creed syndicate
  • watchdogs 2
  • back to the future
  • thief

You on the other hand have a Switch with two great Exclusives. 
Man, I don't know, I woudlnd't do it.

While the games look nice, playing Rise of the Tomb Raider w/o Playing the first remake first doesn't seem like a good idea.

 

And its just a normal PS4 Slim you can get for like 299€ or 150-200€ used.

If it was a Pro, I'd do it.

But with just the Slim, naa, I don't know...

 

Especially since many of those games were on sale for very little money.

 

Here the Prices I paid:
Last of us Remastered: 19,99€

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 15,99 (20 Year Edition)

Uncharted - Nathan Drake Collection 19,99€ (and I believe the Uncharted PS3 Series is on Sale in the Store right now)

Uncharted 4: 15€ (On Disc)

Uncharted Lost Legacy I paid full price: 39,99€

 

I don't own the Rest of those Games on PS4, so I can't say much about it...

But Fifa is a Game I'd expect to be very cheap...

 

That's just about 111€ for those Games.

The PS4 Slim you can get at around 250€, used less than that (500GB, 1TB is 300€ but you can replace the HDD, if you have a PC and a USB Stick and Internet Connection)

 

Even with those games and the Price I paid (Lost Legacy was on Sale at one time I believe), you hardly reach the Price of a new Switch.

 

 

The Switch right now is available at around 300€, w/o Games. The Odyssee Bundle (red) is 379,99€.

The Game itself cost around 44 Bucks -> 344€ + Zelda is still very expensive at 55€

So that makes 399€ for you. Don't know about any Nintendo Sales though...

 


So buttom Line:
I wouldn't do it!

I'd take a 100€ or so and buy a couple of great games for the Switch...
