I hate it because its a mindset you should have all year round, not just one day when the prices are raised so you spend more (that is what Christmas is now, spend spend spend)

 

I never go to restaurants, I actively avoid any situation where I have to go to a restaurant.

 

And yes pretty much all holidays are "made up", I don't like any of them.

 

yes, you do make a good point and one that I fully agree with and want as well. WE should have the giving, sharing, and caring mentality all year round. 

 

However, even if this is the only time people do share and care, we should be grateful for it and not pass around the "I hate holidays" mentality. That kind of thinking is counter productive to what you and I and all of us want.

Dude, I got a Shield and case too. Also bought a 64GB Micro SD (only 49 USD) and a Rocketfish mini HDMI to HDMI. You gotta let me know what you think k so far, I am thinking about doing a full review on it after a month or so of use. Spoiler... I love it so far.

Im getting socks, underwear, and thermal boots. I bought my dad a nice new laptop from dell, my mom a netflix subscription, older sister a ps3 and vita and my two younger ones a few VGs. Yea that might be a bit of money, but that's what happens when you put 130+ hours in a week.

I really don't understand why some people hate christmas, it's like hating on a day when you eat better than normally, That's at least what I do every christmas. Do you hate the day you go to a restaurant?

And made up holiday? seriously what holiday isn't made up or otherwise actually useless when you think about it.

some people have a job and buy themselves all the things. thats what i do. i let other people buy me mouse mats and stuff like that then buy myself the more expensive stuff that i want, then get someone to wrap it up.  :D

Very true (on the first part), which what brings many here to this forum, giving of info and having fun for free on any random day.

As for restaurants, you need to go to some top notch restaurants before giving up, some are very very very good (not all of them), some are like an overclocked CPU to 10 GHz in goodness ;)

Any holiday is a bummer in some respects, but its really when you're with friends/close family that the holiday BS (traditions) fall by the wayside and its just about having fun.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

We don't celebrate christmas, so not anything really. I do use it as an excuse to spend more money myself. Getting an aftermarket R9 290 once they're released.

Christmas isn't until tomorrow here, but I bought myself a 27" Samsung Series 6 monitor.

I'll probably get useful things like soap, boxers, some work out stuff, bottle of Tom Ford cologne.

My aunt was really impressed with herself, apparently she bought my gift online. Intrigued to see what it is.


A question for you guys though. I notice a few people upset with what they got. Don't you find it way more exciting seeing others open the gifts you get them?
