Product Description

This case will only be available for order until June 30, 2018

As far as I'm aware, this is recent, as for the longest time it was not available and it looks like it wont be again soon.

muh specs

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

They stopped selling the monster about 2 years ago, however with every promotion they have done, they always reactivated the sale for the case for a month. Last Promo was SMA8-A revision. :)

It's available fairly often tho.

(Also you can just ask them, usually they respond in a day with positive outcome)

For those wondering about the front I/O, Corsair responded to a ticket I submitted about it and stated that it terminates in 2 USB 3.0 cables and 2 USB 3.1 gen 2 cables, which means you'll need that many headers on your motherboard to utilize them all.  This is likely to support two motherboards on a single I/O panel, so bear that in mine when selecting motherboards.

FUTURE-PROOF FRONT PANEL

An RGB LED lit front panel includes two USB 3.1 Gen-2 Type-C ports alongside four USB 3.0 ports, for future-proof and backward compatible connectivity.

Speaking from experience it's a false claim by a case manufacturer to say usb 3.1 and 3.0 ports are "backward compatible"

This is entirely motherboard dependent and alot of legacy devices at usb 2.0 struggle with newer connectors. Even if you mount a hub in between.

Speaking as a 900D owner who had similar issues. A USB2 front panel socket as option might of been nice.

I guess however no one will mount this 18 fan monster close to you on a desk.

It'll be one to connect a desk USB hub to rear I/O to get some space.
