which one should I do? 32gb ddr3 2133mhz ram or 16gb ddr4 2400mhz

and which is better for performance?

why do you need 32gb of ram in the first place?

Well your motherboard only supports one or the other....so which does your motherboard support (what cpu/mobo do you have)?

Kind of depends on your CPU. You can't use DDR3 on newer ones, you can't use DDR4 on older ones.

Without context this is a pretty stupid post.

You can't use ddr4 with a:

AMD FX 8350 Black Edition

If this still is your current cpu.

 

But then again you can't use ddr3 with new cpus, so this whole question is quite idiotic?

uuu well there is no way you can use BOTH so the one that fits? performance wise the 2133 kit would be faster though because it most likely has much tighter timings

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
