New build or old build?

If it's new, take the plastic off the coldplate. If it's old, stick your head next to the pump (if possible) and listen to see if you hear motor noise. If not, your pump is probably dead.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

Has anything changed?  Did you just get the cooler?

I installed something ******* not supposed to talk about it on forum Far cry 5... Not sure if that's the reason but... Fuck i don't know might be but idk..

One thing i know from sure from the start my CPU was running a bit hotter than other I7's.. i even got a brand new cooler just to test it.. same shit..

I just checked while playing Far cry 5 CPU has hit 93C :o

fuck me.. i have just down clocked it to 4.2 and voltage to 1,100.. And it was 4.6 and 1.650 before now at ide it's around 36-40C.. I'm scared to play the game lol

I think 4.2 Is not that bad.. but i really liked 4.6..

1.65v was absolutely why it was getting that hot.

NEVER run a 4790k that high. 1.45v is the highest you should run it.

Set it back to stock in the BIOS and try running a stress test. CPU temps should not go above 70c stock with that water cooler. If it does after a few minutes, I'd say the pump is dead. (Usually covered with warrenty though)
