Try playing one game on an SSD ND compare it side to side with a 5400rpm drive ...

U'll notice that 5400rpm drive will take more time to load the textures....

It will take more time to LOAD the game on HDD. While playing you gonna have the same FPS. Not worth it. Better save money and get a much better GPU and in the future put an SSD.

The i5 8400 supports up to 2666Mhz. 2400Mhz is just fine

He still has his laptop.... laptops HV pcie port where Ethernet card is connected....u can disconnect it ND connect a GPU to it with a pcie dock that comes around fr $80-100...

 

Also....OP never asked fr a 1070ti?
