Define Nano S motherboard tray clearance issue for U.2

Hey all,

 

Planning a build right now. I want to put this ASrock mini-ITX board into a Define Nano S. The problem is that I want to install an m.2 to u.2 adapter on the board's only m.2 slot located on the back of the board. The case actually has an opening that might allow it to fit through without cutting through the case. Does anyone know of any good m.2 to u.2 adapters that might fit?

Update: This extender from China,

 

combined with the included Intel U.2 to M.2 adapter from the Optane SSD 900p might work. A little unwieldy, and maybe risky for signal integrity (putting a drive into an adapter into a PCIe extension). I'm still open to any ideas for fitting maybe a thicc-er U.2 adapter in there.
