Almsot all cases that have fans pre installed come with 3 pin fan connectors. Usually PWM controlled fans come on CPU coolers, maybe the higher end cases like some of be quiet! cases.

And could I use 3 of 4 pins of my mainbord connector?

I mean something like, i have the 4 pins on my MB, but i put there not a 4 pin connector but a 3 pin connector.

Will it work?

Yes. Just make sure to set the fan speed control to DC, so the fan doesn't run at 100% all the time.
