Will The Arctic F12 PWM’s PST technology work on my board?

robrulz123

So I have an Asrock H81M HDS R2.0 mobo and I have one 4 pin chassis fan header. I’m planning to buy 5 Arctic F12 PWM PST fans and I was wondering if I would be able to use their Pwm Sharing technology to chain link all of the fans from the one fan header. My main concern is how much power they would consume and if the single 4 pin chassis fan header is able to sustain 5 fans.

Also I saw in one of their videos the guy said “Arctic recommends to use no more than 5 on a single header as some boards can’t supply that much power” but I want to make sure my fan header can support 5 on a single header.

Thank you

Yes you can, the f12s arent some super power hungry fans, you can put 5 on one header.
