Tips for my build?

(Bear in mind the tower pc does not have its gpu and hdd in it yet) the brick with many wires in front of it is supporting my monitor not the tower pc YET.

I concur. Needs an SSD. Nicer speakers wouldn't hurt either.

Get an ssd and quote people like this when responding to them. Theres a button at the bottom of their message that looks like an arrow.

Recommend a 500GB SSD if you can. Games are huge nowadays, and 500GB generally has the most price to performance power. Crucial has some of the more reputable products for the best prices according to TechDeals. Also, recommendations depend on what you're trying to do with your rig. What case is it? Decent graphics/CPU pairing for balanced gaming from what I understand. I'm no expert, though. Hitachi harddrives (HGST) are also generally good price to performance ratios if you need a storage overhaul. The way I learned tech, though, is by watching videos about what I was interested in. Shaved over $200 off a $1000 system that way.
