Windows Storage Pool

I have 2 3TB HDD's setup in mirror with Windows storage pool. It's incredibly slow to load my raw camera files as the thumbnail caches don't seem to be saved. Is there anyway to make it faster? Obviously if i used SSD's it would load faster, but is there anyway i could somehow cache the thumbnails?

Any suggestions on how to have storage system for loading files faster id be open to hear about, if needing to buy new equipment.

Thanks,

Trying clearing the thumbnail cache and see if that kick it in to life for creating them, it should be doing it as it's default on.

If that doesn't work give this PowerShell command a try, just be careful as this will introduce risk for recently written data in the event of a power outage or crash.

Set-StoragePool -FriendlyName Backup -IsPowerProtected $true
