Stick with AF's or splurge on ML's?

Wydz

Going to be switching from my 750D to a Meshify C and will be going with a different fan color.

currently my 750D has 8 (don't judge) Red AF140's in it, and the Meshify C only needs 5 fans.

Do I stick with AF's and just buy new ones in the color I want? or do I splurge and spend the $140 it will run me to get ML's for the Meshify?

Never really under a heavy load using my pc, so temps are never really higher than 40c for cpu/mobo, 50c for gpu, and 30c for memory.

Honestly, the Meshify C has great air flow so no need to really go with a more static fan such as the ML series. I would only advise changing if you want to add more splash to your system with color variations/LEDs. The FAN rings on the AF series IIRC are easily removed to swap and/or paint.

That's what I've heard. I mean the 750D isn't the best airflow (granted it's huge and I have 8 fans running this bitch) but my temps aren't horrible at all with AF's, and they don't looks half bad either.

AF are great as case fans since they have such a high CFM when used as chassis fans to circulate the air inside the chassis. I wouldnt recommend them as the cooler fans, but for Chassis fans in an open chassis such as the Meshify C, you cant go wrong.

Should I grab 2 SP's for my 110i? I've just been using Af's solely since I built this pc 18 months ago

only real advantage really of using a SP fan a radiator is you can run them at lower RPMs to achieve the same cooling performance thus reducing noise a little.

So full AF is fine? I'll be moving my 110i to an Intake in the Meshify, dunno if that changes anything. Right now it's in a push/pull on the top of my 750d

It's fine. SP140's aren't that much better than AF140's.

Awesome, thanks :)

I'm on newegg right now.

Might spend the $100 saved on fans on a new SSD or something.
