Best gaming laptop?

I was curious to know in your experience what are the best gaming laptops there are out there? I'm a college student looking for the ability to game on the go, between classes or when I travel. On top of that just something portable to write papers on ect. Please feel free to let me know what you would recommend. Also I'm looking for something 1000 USD or less

P.S. I have a gaming desktop so don't tell me to build one.

I'd say the new Dell G3/5/7 are some of the best bang for your buck units.

The Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming is also pretty great.

Or did you have a higher budget? Something you probably want to share ;)

-moved to laptops section-

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
