Is 2560X1080 enough for a 34" display

Infinity425

I wanted a display that was 2560X1440p and 34 inches but for some reason there are non existent so is 2560 by 1440p enough pixels for that size of a screen. Thanks for the help.

I don't believe it is realistic to have such a larger monitor at 1440p resolution. If that was the case, the ppi of the monitor will be so low as to the point where the image quality will appear blurry. You will need a 3440x1440

print "Hello World!" ("Hello World!")

I've read the number 111 ppi somewhere, and I tend to agree with it.

I'm just upgrading from a 27 inch at 1440p (16:9) to a 34 inch also 1440 but at 21:9.

Believe it or not both are basically the same, 109 ppi.

plugging in 34 inches at 16:9 1440 = 86.4 which to* me is too little.

Of course the other way is possible too because Windows scales at 92ppi so if you go too high res, everything will be really tiny.

27 inches at 4k (3840 x 2160 16:9) is 163ppi, at 34 inch it's at 130ppi. So at 34 inch it's starting to get decent, might be a bit high but probably ok, at 27 inch that's far too high ppi though.

The 34" ultrawide monitor is a little too big for 1080p. It'll be pretty blurry for text and such. However, it really does depend on you as an individual, some are perfectly fine with it, others aren't. The distance you'll be using the monitor from also comes into play. The best thing you can do is go go a store and check them out in person.

It's a little better than a 24" 1080p monitor, so yeah I'd say it'd be fine.

How does it even make sense to say that?

I imagine he's talking about a 21:9 monitor, as there are no 34" 16:9 monitors.
