Time to upgrade my monitor

I have a 1080p monitor and a gtx 970. Casual gamer, play a few AAA titles here and there. Might jump back on FPS like fortnight.

 

I don't need 4k so I think 1440p is the sweet spot

So I need to decide between IPS/TN and 60hz/144hz

Also is curved gimmicky or worth it?

The Dell S2716 is pretty good.
