Google Chrome keeps resetting bookmarks position

Every time I move my bookmark folders in Chrome, their position keeps resetting after every time I exit the browser. I don't understand why this is happening and while it's a minor annoyance I would rather fix it. Any suggestions?

Forgot to mention that bookmarks manager doesn't help.
