Can anyone download 1080p offline Netflix videos?

I am using the Windows 10 Netflix app and all my offline downloads are either 720p or low bitrate 1080p. I am never getting the full bitrate 1080p video that I get while streaming.  Is anyone else facing the same issue?

What bitrate should the Download be at normally?

how do you get that info from the Netflix Windows 10 app?

The offline content can only be accessed through the Netflix app.

 

Do onething.

 

Stream Stranger Things S02E01. Dont download it. Just stream it. Check the resolution and bitrate.

 

After that download S02E01. After it finishes downloading, whenever you play S02E01, it actually plays the offline file. It no longer streams it online.

 

Now check the bitrate and the resolution of the video again.

 

Is it the same as before?

 

In my case it is always 720p even though I stream it at 1080p.

Download size for me is around 800 MB
