TFAtlas4 other os

ItzRuben

I am messing around with an old gps, it runs windows ce 6.0 and I thought would there be any possibility to install another os on it? Or maybe some fun apps to show specs or so?

I think you mean the YFAtlas4.

Depending on how well the have build you can get to the windows ce gui and install your own software. The problem with my Garmin navi was to access functions like the GPS. The initial access to the windows gui was a crash of the garmin software which revealed that it was windows ce. After knowing this it was just easy as placing a text file on the sd card.

Cool! Do you know how to install it? I don't have to use any of the gps functions or so.

install a ide on your desktop

change the compiler/target to windows CE

move the exe with a sd-card or over usb to the device

run the exe like you would do on a normal windows

I don't understand the first two actually (-:
