Intel core I3 VS I5?

8400, because 8100 isnt all that different to a 7600.

At the moment i'm looking for a new coffee lake cpu. I found the Intel Core i3-8100 and for £57 more i found the Intel Core i5-8400. Which one should i go for?

mainly i wanted a better better cpu for gaming because the one that i've got is a Pentium G4400. So i wanted to know which one is better for gaming e.g: Beamng.drive and GTA 5

Neither will fit in your motherboard, get an i7 6700/7700/6700k/7700k instead

Why op? You can get a 7700k for 250 euros on eBay don’t waste your money on a i5/i3 when you can get a 7th gen i7 chip for that price.
