It shouldn't

My ASRock b350 pro4 is arriving today and I just realized that ASRock has an x370 pro4 for the same price of $90 w/o mail in rebate. Is there any glaring differences between the two boards? Based on the pictures they literally look like the same board with same specifications. Btw I have the ryzen 7 1700 and I might oc but not anything higher than 3.8 (since I will not probably not change stock cooler anytime soon).

it does not really matter if you're using a single graphics card both boards will do fine...it's sad though cause the R7 2700 just launched and it's better in every way and it's cheaper and it comes with a nice cooler and the X470 boards are there too...

It just looks like they used the exact same board and stuck a different chipsets on it.

Tbh I knew the new CPUs were coming out but I got a deal for the 1700 for only like $200 so I pulled the trigger.

X370 has support for two graphics cards running at x8/x8..and more connectivity options...but that's about it:

well that is nice then, the X370 pro4 is just the same thing with the b350 but just different chipset

also you might get beefier VRMs. using a X370 pro4 with a R5 2400G AIDA64 stress tested, the vrms topped out at 67 degrees Celcius

The extra connectivity options don't matter if the board doesn't use them.

B350 does support CF, but not SLI.
