It's relatively easy, what country you from? If you're from the UK, GCSE spec for computer science only needs you to know up to 8 bit which is easy af (max value for 8 bit is 255)

If you're even somewhat popular, people will hate you (and will spout hate) for no reason.  The fun of the internet.

When you are in the public domain, please dont whine about it. Kid Rock said it best in one of his songs, I should find it. Basically he was rapping about how he became famous and rich and that he shouldnt complain because he was in the public eye. Its like anyone famous really who complain about poparatzi and such, while they have 10's of millions of bucks in their account. It just comes with the territory.

The one poster is a tool IMO. There are always those that takes things too literally...

One thing that is funny, is on a forum a user states this:

While at the bottom of their forum is this:

Seriously, SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.... I'll take LTT anyday that I don't get blasted with this shit...

The new company that owns the OCN forum now sucks major....

Was a bit of a fall out with the change of ownership and platform change.  Some of the long timers are still there, but I notice other long timers have not shown up or rarely show up now.

No kidding! The new forum platform is junk, the new owners are avaricious tools, and their developers are incompetent morons.

Actually its the anonymous nature, such as road rage and racial hatred. If you think about it when you are in a car or online people wont do what they do as if they were face to face with such person.

With regard to the fan things, I remember that video and I remember that seeming like sound reasoning from Linus, about the dust at least.  But, also, having studied and worked in relevant fields, I agree that putting the fan to pull through a radiator is definitely sub-optimal.  In general, you always want to use a compressor/pump/fan/etc. to push through a high resistance / high pressure drop area, rather than try to pull.

I guess it boils down to how big the difference is between the optimal and the suboptimal solution. If it's 1 degree or spinning the fans 100 rpm faster for the same temps, maybe it all washes out with other considerations (like how easy it is to clean).

In a similar fashion, you will never ever convince me of placing a radiator as an intake, no matter its location. But I don't fool myself thinking there's really a life&death difference on the temperatures of other components :P
