Does anyone know anything about Dogs?

Hello! Does anyone know anything about Dogs? A random stray dog wandered onto the property, It was lying in one corner or some hours and then moved to a different corner, I put a dish of water nearby and it walked over to drink some,

 

Anyone have any advice? what household food might it like to eat?
