Logitech G930 wireless headphones echo on surround mode

Recommended Posts

Whenever I turn on surround mode on my Logitech G930 headphones the audio sounds very echo-y. For example, when I watch a youtube video is sounds very echo-y and when I pause it echoes for a split second until the audio stops instead of stopping immediately (this only happens on Google Chrome, I have tried on Edge). I have noticed this happen in some video games too. I want to know whether it's a software issue or a hardware issue because I contacted support with no success on fixing the problem, but if it's a hardware issue I can submit a warranty claim.

If it happens with Chrome but not with Edge it's obviously a software issue.

I tried on another computer and the issue remains. I also tried using different versions of the Logitech gaming software with no luck as well.

Also, it sounds kinda echo-y on Edge as well just not that much like chrome

So when you turn the fake surround on it starts to sound like that no matter the software or system used?

It's not a bug, it's a feature.
