Best email app for windows 10?

I have been a thunderbird user for more than 8 years. Thunderbird hasn't had any major, game changing updates.

What do people use now?

I'm not aware of any apps other than Microsoft mail or whatever they call it, but I use gmail for my email needs.

I used to run Outlook Express...

But later due to work and OE not developed further I switched to the Office Outllook... currently the 2010 edition... thinking about updating.

On the Road: Acer Aspire 5 Model A515-51G-54FD, Intel Core i5 7200U, 8 GB DDR4 Ram, 120 GB SSD, 1 TB SSD, Intel CPU GFX and Nvidia MX 150, Full HD IPS display

Thunderbird was created by mozilla and is very useful for managing multiple email accounts within a program. I have been using it for 8 years.

But Mozilla only provides security support and is no longer in development for new features. I want to look into something that gets sweet updates frequently.

Are you missing something? I also use Thunderbird and have also used it for long time. Over 8 years, I think. Calendar feature was added to it just recently, and I don't know what else you'd want to get. I admit I don't get people who constantly need new features from their software. If it does what you need, what more there is? Windows Mail and Outlook are only ones I've tried/used besides Thunderbird and I like them less. Mainly because customization is more or less missing.

notifications For one it's one tab less. Better integration with desktop notifications. More than just email.
