How much body spray do I apply?

Im not sure how much I should apply. I have been doing very short sprays on my neck and elbow areas and it seems to wear off after about 2 hours. I don't want to spray so much on that I smell like an 8th grader, so.... How much do I put on?

Im not sure how much I should apply. I have been doing very short sprays on my neck and elbow areas and it seems to wear off after about 2 hours. I don't want to spray so much on that I smell like an 8th grader, so.... How much do I put on?

Just a few quick bursts. If it doesn’t last as long as you’d like, you may need to reapply. 

 

Don’t apply more at once, it’ll just make

the scent overwhelming.

Deoderant is to prevent you from smelling bad/like BO. 

 

Body spray is entirely cosmetic to make you smell “good”. Same as cologne/perfume. 

 

With that in mind, body spray is 100% optional.

Apparently people can smell mine pretty well but it's not gory like Axe so.... *shrugs* Maybe it's just the stuff I use. Dove Men +Care.

Cologne tends to last longer. But it’s also much more potent. You use a tiny squirt and that’s it. 

 

I use Axe spray (Phoenix) every day. A rather generous spray directly onto my chest, the clothes on top. The clothes help to dilute the smell so it’s not overwhelming, and they also “catch” the smell somewhat to help it stay longer. 

 

Works for me, and I’ve had no complaints (my fiancée would for sure say if it was too strong). 

 

Good cologne is kind of super expensive, so pick your poison.

Then just don't use it and shower with a fruit scented body wash.

I would just like to say that it's quite possible that the scent is still there, you yourself just can't smell since you got used to the scent.

Probably about 1 second of spray, evenly distributed in an 'X' or 'U' shape - but I also don't depress the trigger with full force. I press down with about half to 3/4th's force.

 

Honestly, I wouldn't concern yourself too much - as long as you wear deodorant or antiperspirant, then no one will be grossed out by you.

 

Also as @2FA mentioned, you might not smell it yourself - same reason why most people don't really smell their own BO unless it's knockout worthy - your nose gets acclimatized to the scent and just kind of "tunes" it out.

 

I would ask a trusted friend (one who won't lie, nor make fun of you) how strong the scent is right after spraying it, and after 2-3 hours.

One quick and short spray, dont be one of those who can smell you 10 feet away.

I use 3 quick sprays of Kenneth Cole Vintage Black, and I love it. Don't forget, your nose starts tuning the scent out after a while, so you shouldn't need to apply multiple times a day.
