CPU fan change

Bhvrry

Can you just change the fan on a CPU cooler or do you need to change the cooler as well? My CPU is averaging between 95-104 degrees and I want to add a bigger fan to bring this down.

Many coolers clip on standard case fans that can be easily replaced. What cooler do you have?

Moved to Air Cooling.

Stock CPU coolers are generally built to go together with that specific fan.

A better fan won't make big changes in your temperatures. A better cooler will. It's not the fan that lowers the temperatures so much, it's the heatsink.

Are those temps in Celsius or Fahrenheit? A bigger fan won't do anything drastic, you need to switch whole cooler.
