4k 144Hz - Acer and ASUS G-Sync HDR Displays over $3k

I’d probably get it if it were in the $1200-$1500 range. But such a price range in the US seems very unlikely at this point.

I’m guessing it’ll be in the $2,000 - $2,500 range when it’s officially released.

Give it time. New display stuff always costs a lot for several years.

My monitor’s price hasn’t changed much and it has been out for almost 3 years...

Look at the price of 4k monitors and TVs over the past several years. They've dropped from astronomical prices. 1440p monitors, especially 144hz ones, have finally come down to reasonable prices. It takes a long time for monitors to drop in price.

$2k would be a better number for selling more quantities, but the $3k will probably the official "marked up" price until demand dials back a bit, then they'll go "on sale"
