Crucible is the best way to increase your light, more often than not(assuming you're not at the hard cap already).

 

Bungie is also increasing the hard cap to 700 now I'm still at 581....

true... but I'm not really the competitive kind of player, so i don't mind too much... it's the best free game i have so far

You don't have to play Competitive, Quickplay and Rumble are usually the playlists I join for Crucible

well.. i normally don't play around 23-00... that's normally when i speak you, but i already have to pay for a new bluetooth headset, my ps plus subscription and a new front panel, so I'm kinda short on money now...

You don't need the front panel anyway. Your processors will love the lack of it.

Ditch the console, companies make too much money off the online passes anyway.

i know, but my dongle broke and i can still connect a wire to it, and it's 50mm drivers (and bought it already)

That's true, it'll probably be on sale during the holidays again.

 

Once you play through Curse of Osiris and Warmind, be prepared for Forsaken. It's tough as heck.

Forsaken gets super tough. To give you an idea, the recommended light levels I recall range from 500-560.

yeah... I'm already too low to fight those op bosses, or even the harder versions of quests... but I'm on it...

I would target say 300, that's usually enough for most of what the base game has to offer.

 

Even the heroic story missions from the base game don't call for much, I think they want 280.

I was speedrunning the heroic first Titan mission last night, I'd like to get down to 5 minutes if I can. So far my record is just above 7.

I think I recall the hard cap being 380 for the base game.

 

I love this game though, it's the best free game I ever got(and the only one I've spent money on).

I count a game as free if I didn't spend money to get it

You may notice, I referred to Destiny 2 as "the best free game" I've played.

 

I haven't played CS:GO or TF2 at all, but I may pick those up this year. I like the gamemode of CS:GO, but a majority of the community that plays it hasn't made me want to play it.
