Zuckerberg Fires Back at Cook

Mark doesn't need help he can just pay them off like Steve did during all those tax evasion cases, and he can also toss another billion like it's nothing at them.  He's worth 66 billion dollars, Steve was worth like 8.3.  Even if he did get in trouble he can still buy his way out by liquidating less than Steve or Tim would have to while still sitting on his ass.  And, that's why Tim is even more jealous.

Let's face it, FB is simply a place to get viruses from friends and have your personal data stolen. Spend too much time making money off viruses ppl get from FB or their affiliations with it.

So Tim is jealous because Marks company is so irresponsible that Mark now has to dig himself out of a PR nightmare?

Cool story bro.

Mark can just pay it off, most people won't care and will still use Facebook, with all the news stories out that you can change a few privacy settings from a new page like it makes your info more secure will have the general public forget about it.

Apple hasn't been innovating like they used to, making wireless earphones or an overpriced lack of features speaker isn't anything that new.

There is no nightmare here, except maybe for Tim who can't work out how someone half his age is worth 155 times more making a product that requires very little maintenance on the CEO's part,  while he works his arse of day in and day out only to look  not slightly as bad as a narcissist who everyone thinks was an awesome CEO and irreplaceable.   Of course he is jealous.

I can’t help but feel like you two are being jealous for Tim Cook xD

Actually, there are some companies that pay their taxes.  However, every company does irresponsible shit in some form.  While Mark might not be a tax dodger he doesn't really hold our privacy to the highest regard.  The point is, no company gives a shit about you.

Not sure which goal post you are going after with that comment but sure!

I'm saying don't be a brand loyalist because every company only cares about money, and they all fuck up in some form.  Buy more into guys like Woz and Carmack aka the people who do care.

I'm not the one saying one CEO is jealous of another.......

And to think people will still use it even when you tell them this. That's the genius if zuckerburg's design.   Love it or hate it you can deny it's a good business strategy.

Of course I am envious of cook, and zukerbourg and nearly every other CEO who has drive and a job they love  (Plus the money wouldn't be half bad).  But that's just the thing, when you're a realist, you don't fool yourself into thinking someone must be stupid/not as smart because their company relies on essentially mostly  unethical data practices.  Tim has pretty much said just that when he said he would never be in that position.

I would much rather know exactly what I am jealous of and why than defending any CEO simply because I like the products that company makes.

That was laid out by Steve Jobs, tell me any new products that Apple has made (truly new) that Cook as done to reshape Apple?  I can't think of one.  iPhone was the last "greatest" invention by Apple, which was done by Steve Jobs.  If it wasn't for him and understanding that, that product would not have succeeded in the computer space and shifted over to a cell phone where the pricing of it was justifiable, it would never have succeeded.  After the iPhone was successful, the apple app store took over.  That is what helped Apple to grow so big and keep its leadership.  All of its other products are really not that much of its total revenue.  They have 8% maybe 10% of the total PC market, high margin products yeah but when comparing to other computer companies that is still small potatoes.

To add, Apple has been loosing computer market share. They just haven't been very innovative, Cook has to work at selling things to customers like the macbook has a gimmicky touch bar, we took away functionality by reducing the amount of ports but look it's thinner now. Or how a notch is a feature that shouldn't be hidden, or ditching the 3.5mm jack is a benefit.

Oh you haven't heard then?  we do not exist, we are a conspiracy continent made up so that the people of England thought the convicts were going to a real place,  but the boats were just sailing around the corner and throwing the convicts overboard.    Also on a flat earth the extra weight of Australia would cause the earth to shake like an unbalanced washing machine.  so we can't be here.   But I still want a cookie. :(

Mark Zuckerberg can play the corporate game too, all he has to do is spend his way out of it, spread some positive nonsense about how Facebook cares about your privacy, while still paying their taxes. If anything Cook making attack statements is just going to backfire on him, the general public isn't going to give up their Facebook.

Yep, what is he going to gain from all that talk?  No one cares, the shareholders were already happy, and Unless apple has some unpublicized stake in facebook it only serves to draw good attention from  their other endeavors.
