I think they're going to refresh soon still using 10 series GPU's. Maybe going from a 1060 to a 1070 MaxQ if thermals allow.
They'll probably upgrade the track pad and maybe add a magnetic charging solution or charging my USB Type C.
Obviously they'll move up to an 8 Series CPU too.

Form factor will remain unchanged though.

See my Build here!

Intel 6700k -  Strix GTX 1080Ti - Corsair AX760 - Corsair Dominator 16GB 3000MHz - ASUS Maximus VIII Hero

Seagate Barracuda 1TB -  Samsung 120GB 840 - Samsung 840 EVO 250GB - Corsair H100i - Corsair Air 540 White -

Corsair AF120 - 2x Noctua NF-F12 - 3 x Noctua NF-S12

 Dell S2417DG - Dell UH2515H

I'd love to see them change the exhaust port location though. I can't stand that so many laptop manufacturers are now putting exhausts in the hinge so it can block the heat trying to escape, maybe one day we'll get a side exhaust, or a hinge design that doesn't block the heat escaping.

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂

-4k -touchscreen +big battery +silent cooler(more heatpipes).

A laptop's first purpose is being portable, it's stupid giving up battery life for a 4k screen when Windows doesn't not support 4k resolution on all apps and scaling does not work that well, also having a bigger price and using system resources for a feature that you never use is also stupid(talking about touchscreen now).

Improve build quality, cooling and QC first. Also customer support. If they don't improve on these then I won't even bother to get one.

Probably the same design as before but with new CPUs and GPUs.

I would prefer that they focus on QC and cooling. I never recommend Razer Blades for these factors alone

Yep. My GL502VM has the same flaw

Don’t understated why the designers thought it was a good idea. Granted, the GL503 got around it (still runs warm) but damn

1- 15.6 1440p 120hz screen with brightness up to 520 nit

in the same chassis size or a slightly bigger one

2- Extra M.2 slot

3- GTX 1070 MaxQ

4- 94 Whr battery

5- illuminating function Keys

6- 2 year standard warranty

7- Better cooling ( less fan noise  )

8- SD card reader

GOOD TO HAVE:

1- space grey or silver version while keeping the razer chroma keyboard

I really want to get a razer blade for college but if I don't hear anything soon I might pull the trigger on the new Gigabyte 15x.

Thats Pretty much everything I want!!!

Only things i wouldnt need is:
- Better Webcam/Mic [I have Headphones]

- Magsafe [What even is this???]

- Ram Slot

- SD Card Reader

But good idea with space grey/silver Colors! Id love to see that!

But i would probably go for the black version because if I got a Razer Blade, id probably go and get a Skin for it from Dbrand, since they have some dope skins for it!

Doubt it, they can barely handle a 1060.

Guys, there's literally no reason to discuss Razer laptops unless they fix their terrible build quality and QC. There are tons of YouTube videos by well-known laptop repair experts about how bad is the quality of Razer laptops.

The Zephyrus has a unique cooling design.

This is one thing any tech enthusiast should know. You may get "portability" and "performance" but quality is just awful.

Even non gaming laptops like my HP Envyx360 have their port there. Do anything moderate to heavy and the fans spin up quite loud and on heavy loads the metal becomes so hot that its like a frying pan. The exhaust gets covered in tent and tablet modes

1. Show me the panel model in Panellook. Doesn't even exist right

3. Can't even handle a 1060, leave alone 1070MQ

4. Show me the space for bigger battery

6. Won't even last for a year, leave alone the 2 year warranty. Oh yeah good luck dealing with their famous terrible customer support

7. Impossible in such form factor, even worse with Blade terrible cooling design

I agree.  I've been holding off on buying one because I would love for it have less bezel and USB C charger.

I rather have an Alienware. But if I really have to choose, I don't think I would even get an Alienware either. (says the guy who got an faux-Alienware)

I hear 2018 blade will have a 15.6-inch display and will have the option for a 1070 max-Q .

It would be nice if they get their cooling under control. I would love to see one made with options like the aero 15x. I just got it and I like it but a Razer version with a similar setup would be better imho. The gigabyte software kinda stinks.

Ideally if Razer fixed their cooling problem, has a 90whr or higher battery, and high refresh rate without gsync I would get rid of the aero and buy the Razer in a heartbeat.
