HDMI Cable Issue Help?

Revan654

HDMI Cable: 15ft - HDMI Certified (MonoPrice) - Passive

LInk: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=15427

Source: PS4 Pro with HDR enabled.

HDR reading Data: 10Bit + BT.2020 at 4:2:0

Signal Locking at: 10Bit + BT.709 at 4:2:0

The Issue: It's not sending the full 10Bit + BT.2020 at 4:2:0. Only the 4:2:0 and 10Bit is coming through.  Somewhere along the line BT.2020 gets converted to BT.709.

Just to make sure it wasn't the source, I put a reader in the middle to capture the data along with the EDID to see the data coming in and going out. 10Bit, BT.2020, 4:2:0 is coming in and going out fully. Somewhere along the 15ft cable something is going wrong.

Anyone know what creating the issue? Is it the cable it self or is the length to long to carry that type of signal? Would a active HDMI cable be better?

Current Build: Project Frost
Gaming Rig Build: Project Ice Dragon

Did you put your tester at the end of the cable to test the cable it self
