Weird "bug" or what?

FreQUENCY

I am tweaking my pc for some FPS boost and smooth gameplay.It feels much better after that.But when i boot  my pc back again it feels the same as before,like nothing changed.How is this happening?

What are the specs of your PC?

What do you mean by "tweaking" your PC? Overclocking?
