Yes well you couldn't fit them in a Notebook, at least most Notebooks.

Had a question 45 seconds into this video. Is the product RAID 10 compatible? If I buy 4 of these devices, can I create two arrays 1 array for SSD's, and the other array for the other 4 1TB mechnical hard drives?

This product is great for people that use software like Serato or Traktor, where all the DJ library is on the laptop controlled by say the Traktor S4.
specially if you're using highest quality format for music, eg like the wav, like most good DJ's are. specially when hard disk buffering come into play.
 just a shame about the price  but if you're pro and playing live, it's a good option
