I think it's a fair game either Linus has bought NCIX for some reason, or he planted that "recently downloaded" entry to tease viewers because he can.

 

A third option is Taran has created a robotic Llama which has become sentient, and we now must all surrender our goldfish.

He definitely has not purchased all of NCIX though, he made it very clear how that would be a terrible idea for many reasons.

I didn't say it would make common sense, just that buyers remorse is a bitch.

 

I do reckon though he has bought some part of it, maybe even just the domain? not sure.

yeah they talked about it on WAN show somebody bought the app, website, database, youtube channel, etc 

so if you bought them you probably would want to put it back up eventually.

Ex frequent user here, still check in here occasionally. I stopped being a weeb in 2018 lol

All I know is I wish NCIX was back as I had nothing but good experiences with them even when something went wrong.  Less options for pc parts is not a good thing.  : S

Could just be the website... but I'd assume the NCIX logo goes with the whole company, this the whole website would mean Linus needs to buy the whole company. Which he already said he would not/could not do.

 

Other options, the doc is legit, but an actual news report/google docs (for anonymity) download on who/when it was bought. Or as Linus has some stake (IP of his face etc ;) ) in NCIX they had to send a doc to him to confirm legal stuff? So he signed over his face/likeness/took his copyright back?
