[Build Log] Singularity Cases Spectre [SUPERUNICUM]

I’ve never done a build log before. Usually I just build rigs and never show anyone, but when the case is $1400AUD shipped I guess I should epeen about it with someone.

I have decided on a purple , white and black theme. The name of this build be called SUPERUNICUM, a world of Tanks reference (I’m a former pro WoT player)

I thought I'll use VUE for my build, but after even JayzTwoCents said he is not going to be using it anymore, I ditched the idea...

 

I'm also deciding to splurge on that case, since I can't find any that suit my needs. Sadly it doesn't have usb-c port for that ridiculous price.

I have no use for a USB C port currently so no issue for me.

Bought some meguiars PLASTX and polished my BITSPOWER monoblock because the plexi looked dirty. Massive difference

subbing, please do more justice to this case than Linus did.  I mean Linus did fine work inside this case, he just didnt do anything "extra".  He just plugged in the components.  Hopefully you can put some personality or mods to this case that really showcase what this can potentially be.  Cant  wait to see!

Hey, you get notice on shipment yet?  I have only seen 2 emails giving updates on possible ship dates, but 5/1 came and went.

I emailed SC. There is a production delay. They assured me I would get the case this month. Extremely poor communication for a 1100USD case.

ugh.  Okay, when was the last time you heard?  Yea, i get delays, just wish they would tell me instead of me having to ask for an update.  Been rather disappointed with the process.

I have been sitting on all my parts for the last few months and dying to get building, and I keep buying more that I might never use.  Your posts motivated me to get my fans on my radiators and work on the cables.  I saw you have a separate rez.  So, you will run two loops?  I am toying with that as well.  Order everything for the second loop but for the pump.  will put it together and see how it looks both ways.

Nope seperate res will be at bottom to fill up space. Will only be 1 loop. I have about 40 boxes of parts sitting on shelves doing nothing. I emailed SC on the 2nd and got a reply that day. No other information has been given anywhere except for my email.

Ah, cool.  I was thinking double loop to do two colors.  But might clutter the build up too much.

Haha dude I just came back to forum to see if you had received any information. I haven’t received an update since May 31. Have you received any other emails?

i have no idea what order number I am or whether I part of the first 20 Cases to be shipped. 

 

I have emailed singularity 2 times and asked about the order and haven’t received anything back, I’ve also tweeted at them multiple times and not a single reply.

Vue WILL die on you, after all the horrorstories the manufacturer even sais on the page that VUE is for Show-Builds only.

Be careful, you wouldn't want to ruin this case :(

Yeah I’m most likely going to use UFO Technologies fluid instead of VUE. Much better results according to everyone who’s used it extensively.

 

Jay got me into watercooling, but hes acted like a massive douche ever since his father died, he’s obnoxious on twitter.
