Thank you,

This weekend Ill put some 286's up and 8086/8087 combo in my Mod 25. I moved my mod 30 286 inside the house and will someday get it running right. It boots but needs cmos battery or startup diskette every time its started. PS/2's are a pain. Wish I kept my apple Lisa, shrinkwrapped system 7.7, IMB 5150,5160 and TRS-4 with CP/m and visicalc and a buch of other junk. Oh well

After a quick Google search, I completely agree with your claim. It died before I got into tech (I used that machine for like 3 months), so I never was able to see what it had inside.

IBM's last best hope against microsoft....it failed

post-228982-0-31209200-1435416047_thumb.

Funny story behind this. My wife about freaked when she saw what some of my"computer junk" was going for on EBAY

I wrote down a few things I threw out to make her happy and asked her to look this up on ebay.

She laughed and said "no way" and we both laughed about it

Sort of fun to see the OP define Core 2 Duo and DDR2 as old, makes me which I still had my first ATI Rage GPU or my AMD K6 processor. I even had 10-15 old GPU's from the nineties lying around thinking i should make a sort of collage with them. However I never got around to doing it so I ended up throwing them away :(

I can go 1 better on that 486, I've got the 100MHz version with the stock heatsink and fan.

I had both of them in working condition, but younger/curious me decided it would be a good idea to see the die xD.
