Mine does 1600x1200 75hz, it's a freaking BEAST of a monitor considering its age :)

How could you do such a thing? I couldn't dream of parting with mine.

I tossed both my CRTs in the trash. Like, literally, chucked them both in the trash. Both exploded.

How could you do such a thing? I couldn't dream of parting with mine.

It was just taking up space. I admit, I wanted to use it, but I couldn't.

So do I. It's a ViewSonic VA2213w that my dad bought to replace an old CRT screen. It's still a damn good monitor. I didn't know that a Radeon 9600 Pro could run a game at 1080p.

Compaq ProSignia. Roughly $3,500 when new, and I got it for $2.50. Battery holds for an hour and a half (Word, original battery even), and the rest of the laptop is in great shape.

Your point is invalid.

Ahahaha :P your little face when you thought you'd get away with just that! :D

Macintosh Powerbook 100. 2MB RAM, 20MB HDD. Broken. Why my dad still has it I have no clue...

I will be most impressed if you can top that ;)

Sure thing.

Sharp PC-4521. 20MB HDD, 640KB RAM, some 7MHz Intel processor, and a 720KB floppy drive. Comes with some version of DOS 3. And the screen is monochrome only. :D

Oh, and mine still is fully functioning (other than a ripped display cable).

And how do you manage to make them explode? they are just like... giant bulbs... all my CRTs are ok, only one of them is in the trash bc of the cable...

That's why they have "demagnetize" function ;)

I threw one into the trash and landed on the picture tube. And the degauss was even not enough. It still had very bad color issues.
